Vaughan and his team at VMH Landscapes were integral to the success of the project

We have recently completed subdividing and building our new home.   Vaughan and his team at VMH Landscapes were integral to the success of the project.  On the morning of the foundation pour, they arrived ahead of the concrete trucks and functioned like a well-oiled machine to get the job done super-efficiently.

The next phase of their involvement was the physical landscaping on a sloping section that required considerable retaining.  Vaughan has great problem-solving skills and his team are solutions focused.  He also loves rocks (as do we) and has the ability to work magic with them.  So, what might have been ugly retaining walls became beautiful rock features that reflect our volcanic environment and form part of an integrated landscape design.

Vaughan was aware that we were budget constrained.  He crafted landscaping solutions that were cost effective, elegant, and made maximum use of recycled materials we already had.

The third piece of VMH’s involvement was to lay the exposed aggregate driveway, which is magnificent and a testament to the team’s skills with concrete.

Vaughan and all his team are great to work with.  They have great knowledge and skills, good gear, and do a high quality job in a cost-effective way.  They take pride in their work and have helped us to create a new home that we love.
